NOTLEY, AT IT AGAIN
THE PASTY OLD WHITE WOMAN SPEWS FORTH AGAIN
Notley blaming the UCP and its members for the Covid 19 outbreak at the Olymel meat plant in Red Deer Alberta. Can this crazy old white woman tell us Albertans, how is a Government to blame for people not social distancing at home, not wearing their masks, not eating together as a family, not sleeping with their spouse, not playing with their kids and so on. This crazy old white woman would have us locked up till the virus died, or we all died. We need a new phrase in Alberta “Stamp out the crazy old white woman”. (vote out)
The left-wing liberal media nut jobs as always slobbering at the heals of the pasty old white woman and the unions in Alberta.
“Global News” and the “Canadian Press” on command post the following headline;
“A FRIGHTENED WORKFORCE; UNION WORRIES as OLYMEL REOPENS AFTER COVID 19 SHUTDOWN”
Thomas Hesse, president of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 401, was quoted as saying;
“Obviously the bottom line for Olymel is they’re just putting pigs ahead of people, what you’ve got is a frightened workforce. There’s this enormous amount of fear and anxiety, and now a layer of grief on top of that, and they expect employees to jump to attention and parade back to work. I have no confidence in the safety of the workplace.

News Headline, April 2020; Workers scared to go to work, union calling for shutdown of the JBS plant in Brooks
Isn’t this typical of a union affiliated with the NDP of Alberta. You know they are, just by the way they talk. First, they blame the company, then they bestow fear amongst the workers, and then they expand the grief of the affected people onto the public, insult the company again, and finally say they have no confidence in the company’s workplace. That would mean that the union had no confidence in themselves when it came to addressing the health and safety concerns of their union members concerning the Olymel plant. If there are any more outbreaks, or the plant is found to be unsafe the union should be charged with negligence, if it allows its members to resume work in unsafe conditions.
The union does not mention that they have been working with Olymel, AHS, CFIA, and OHS, in the reopening of the plant. If the union had a justifiable concern on the health and safety of the plant, then why not come out and list those concerns so the public can see them. We as Albertans have questions on why these life-threatening plant conditions, populated by the union to the media, were not taken up with, Olymel, AHS, CFIA, and OHS, before the plant opened. Those are the questions that need to be addressed by the union and its media nut-jobs.
Olymel will no doubt assign extra personal to monitor and enforce new safety measures put in place at the Red Deer plant. Alberta Health Services and the Canadian Food and Inspection Agency always work with management, workers and of course the unions, to make sure that facilities that have had major Covid 19 outbreaks are reopened in a safe manner.
If you listen to UFCW, Canada Local 401’s comments you would be under the impression that management personal from Olymel went out and bought barrels of Covid 19 from Guangdong Province, and sprayed the virus all over the plant in order to infect the plants workers and affect a shutdown that would cost the company millions. After all, wouldn’t that fit the narrative that Olymel is at fault for the spread of the “Wuhan Virus” in its plant? And let’s not forget that Notley signed an agreement to make Guangdong Province, China, a sister province of Alberta. After all you know, Notley has personal connections to China and the “Wuhan Virus”.
“AHS has submitted recommendations of improvement to bolster Olymel’s current COVID plan, and anticipate those will be implemented prior to reopening. This includes:
- implementing capacity limits in lockers rooms and washrooms;
· removing reusable dishes in break rooms;
· enhanced cleaning/disinfecting schedules of washrooms, break rooms, locker rooms;
· more hand sanitizing stations throughout;
· increased education plan for staff, including staff training sessions, posters, and other visuals.”
Wow all this and Local 401 is still calling the Olymel plant unsafe, saying employees must stand at attention and do a parade march back to work. Of course, let’s not forget Olymel is putting pigs ahead of its workers, what a crock of shit, there would be no plant without the workers, and there would be no workers without the plant.
Out steps Notley and the “rubbish brigade” made up of the, NDP faithful, unions across Alberta, the left-wing media wing-nuts, and any little activist who wants to destroy Alberta. If Notley was in power she would impose draconian Covid 19 measures on the people of Alberta. Businesses would be forced to shut down, even forced into bankruptcy, travel would be restricted severely and the Covid police would be everywhere handing out tickets, She and the NDP would put a stop to the “Wuhan Virus”. Of course, the province would be open to immigration and oversea flights. Notley would do this to increase her voting populace, knowing full well that is where the virus came from.
Right on cue. Notley said the plant shouldn’t be reopened until it is deemed to be safe inside. She also wants a public inquiry called into Olymel’s situation.
If she and the rubbish brigade want the plant closed down, till deemed safe, why doesn’t Notley come up with the solution to reopen the plant, no, she has no plan at all except to shut down the plant and the livelihoods of the workers and their family’s. Notley, the draconian overlord.
She had this to say “To date, 500 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed among Olymel employees. With the three confirmed deaths to date it is now the deadliest meat-packing plant outbreak in the country.”
Notley always has a garbage mouth about Alberta, but never a feasible solution. The only solutions Notley has shown Albertans, is that she believes the cure for any problem is more money, your money!
“I’m hoping the premier will do the right thing. I’m hoping he will delay the opening of Olymel. I’m hoping that he will appropriately compensate meat producers.
As if on cue again, this is Notley’s cure for the Covid plant outbreak, shut her down, pay the plant and employees to stay at home, bankrupt the province. What the hell does this NDP moron think is going to happen to all the slaughter hogs. Will she then shut down all the hog farms and pay the hogs themselves to wait to go to slaughter?
Further Notley said, “I’m hoping he will finally launch a full inquiry into the outrageous record in this province at meat-packing plants.”
Notley so quickly forgets, there was an outbreak of Covid at the Brooks meat packing plant. The UCP had Alberts’s Chief Medical Officer look at that outbreak.
Alberta’s CMO, Deena Hinshaw said plant conditions and practices aren’t the only factors that need to be looked at when it comes to understanding the COVID-19 outbreak tied to the Cargill plant.
“We know in this particular outbreak, when cases were identified, there were measures put in place at the plant, but some of the other measures that we’re now seeing are really critical, There are things like carpooling that’s been identified as a risk, and so not just looking at the plant itself, but looking at how do people get back and forth to work, thinking about households. There’s households where people simply don’t have the space to self-isolate.”
We as Albertans are constantly told to wear a mask, social distance, wash our hands, don’t gather in groups, and isolate if we come into contact with someone, we think might have Covid 19. This is fair advise if you have the time, money and space to do these things. It is unfortunate that Notley can’t seem to remember what CMO Hinshaw said about problems with the spread of Covid in a meat packing plant in April 2020.
A great many workers at the meat packing plants in Alberta are from the Philippines. The Pilipino has found a niche here in Alberta. It is a job that most young people out of school here in Alberta could not mentally or physically do. Instead of Notley running her damn mouth off about racism she should actually examine the problem in these type of work environments. This pasty, old white woman was the leader of Alberta for four years, never did I hear a comment on how she was going to help the Pilipino out in the province. No, she was much to worried about her teachers and hospital workers to be bothered with the Pilipino community. Did she not have any Pilipino people in her cabinet telling her about their problems? Is Notley a racist, in that she likes to shoot her mouth off, but when given the opportunity, she does nothing? Notley and her union buddies are all for shutting down the meat packing plants for months, that would kill the industry. Think of the hardship the families would go through, not only would they have trouble supporting their own family here in Alberta, their relatives back in the Philippines would be doing with a lot less. Yes, a lot of the workers originally from there send money home every month to help support people back home.
Covid 19 is a godsend to Notley. She can prance around Alberta spewing her racism rhetoric at every Albertan that isn’t one of her faithful. Run down the UCP government and its members, and play the big shot for the left-wing media nut bars.
In a statement, the UCP government said “it is disappointing, but not entirely surprising, that the Notley NDP continues to play politics with a global pandemic that has tragically taken the lives of over 22,000 Canadians and over 2.5 million worldwide.
“Occupational Health and Safety has inspected the Olymel facility 14 times since Nov. 17, both in person and remotely. OHS continues to monitor Olymel to ensure safety protocols and measures continue to be used and have conducted a joint in-person inspection of the facility on March 1, 2021.
“Following Olymel’s decision to gradually reopen, a joint inspection of the site and review of reopening plans took place with Olymel, AHS, UFCW, CFIA, and OHS. OHS will continue to monitor for compliance to ensure measures are in place to limit the spread of COVID-19.
The federal government added this; Agricultural Minister Marie-Claude Bibeau said; “the federal government is assessing the situation and will provide funding if needed.”
Canada is the worlds third largest producer/exporter of pork. The USA buys upwards of 100.000 hogs per week from Canada
It is time to stamp out the NDP in Alberta and Canada!
